From the smallest communities to the largest cities, retail has been on the forefront of many an era. Since the advent of Main Street USA, up to and including today’s multi-channel, experiential approach, retail consistently shapes our everyday lives.
Retail has experienced major disruption and transformation over the past few years. While the challenges for retailers are real, we will explore the opportunities and trends driving today’s retail industry.
With the wrap-up of the 2019 Legislative session, Mark Johnson, Sr. VP of Policy and Government Affairs will discuss recent legislation impacting retailers and small businesses. From taxes, employment regulations, market place fairness and data privacy, this year’s session offered a broad range of bills that further require retailers to adapt.
