Event Description:
Join us for our Monthly Luncheon to network with other area professionals and hear from our two speakers, Heidi Audette, Communications and Legislative Director of the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs and Brenda Laban, Local Veteran Employment Rep for Piece County.
Heidi will provide an overview of your Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs and then dive a little deeper into the WDVA Veteran Owned Business Certification Program and how the Linked Deposit Program can be put to use by certified businesses. She has worked with the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs since 2000 and serves as both the Communications and Legislative Director for the agency.
Brenda will be speaking on WorkSource-America's Job Center, the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, and YESVETS, a campaign to hire veterans. Brenda advocates for employers to hire veterans. She is a retired First Sergeant with 24 years active duty service.

Regular: Seasoned Pork with sage butter and seasonal sides
Vegetarian: Pasta Pomodoro with Fresh basil and parmesan
Dessert: Black Forest Cake
