Commanding General of America’s First Corps
LTG Volesky is an Infantry Officer who has commanded Soldiers at all levels up to Corps to include: 8th Infantry Division, 3d Armored Div (with deployment in support of OPERATION DESERT SHIELD AND DESERT STORM), 1st Cav Division (with deployment in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM II and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM 09-10) and 101st Airborne Division that included a humanitarian assistance deployment to Liberia in support of OPERATION UNITED ASSISTANCE, and deployment to Iraq in support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE
